| Hello my name is Devon. I have been raising cavies with my brothers for Six years. I specialize in Abyssinians, Abyssinian Satins, Americans, and American Satins. But I do have other breed I am trying too. I am a 4-H member and a member of American Rabbit Breed Assocation, RCSAA, California State Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Assocation, American Cavy Breeders Asso., Red Rock Cavy Club, San Gaberial Valley Cavy Club, Keep It Hopping Rabbit and Cavy Club, and Arizona State Rabbit and Cavy Breeder. I also raise Holand Lops and Netherland Dwarf rabbits. We are located in Southern California, in Riverside County |
| In April of 2008 I went to Idaho for the ACBA Specialty show. There I competed in the Royalty Competions and won Princess WOW! I also won first place in Achievement and Management. I would recommend any youth who is interested in the cavy project to participate in Royalty. I had so much fun and learned a lot about myself and cavies in the process. I also met a lot of new people with the same interest. At the show my animals did well too getting two Best of Breeds. I came home with many prizes and many new animals and new friends. | The ARBA National Convention came to California November 1-5th in Del Mar, and I was really excited to attend. I showed some of my animals there and participating in the Royalty competion. So many people and clubs worked hard to make this a special and memoriable event. I hope everyone who attended had a good time. I met many new people in the fancy as well as spent time with some that I already know. I am pleased to announce the my Abyssinian Brindle Boar took Best In Show in Youth I would like to thank Jennifer and Tammie for all their hard work this year organizing judge offs , and putting together the California youth team. |
